DESCRIPTION:<p>Learn how the HTML and CSS that you write or edit can make or break the usability of a site for people with disabilities. Through examples and activities, we'll cover essential steps in designing for accessibility. Attendees should understand what "accessibility" is and why it matters; <a href="/calendar/upcoming/das-events/content-creator-trainings">Digital Accessibility for Content Creators</a> and <a href="/calendar/upcoming/das-events/digital-accessibility-foundations">Digital Accessibility Foundations</a> are two good, introductory options.</p><p>Please make sure to attend both sessions, the training is split into two, two-hour parts. This training will be held virtually via Zoom in <strong>two sessions</strong>: 10 am - 12 pm, and 2 pm - 4 pm.</p><p>(Formerly known as "Web Accessibility for Developers.")</p><p><!--break-->Please email digitalaccessibility@harvard.edu with any questions or accommodation requests.</p>
