    Measuring Accessibility with Siteimprove

    This course provides an overview of Siteimprove, the Harvard-licensed platform to assess and monitor accessibility in public-facing websites. We’ll demystify the essential features and functionality that allow users to filter, sort, and measure the impact of issues. You’ll also learn how to track and report progress toward accessibility compliance, and find guidance and practical recommendations for fixing issues.

    This training will introduce learners to digital accessibility, demonstrate its importance, and provide guidance about Harvard’s Digital Accessibility Policy.     Digital Accessibility Foundations

    This training will be held virtually via Zoom on August 23 and 24 from 9 am - 11 am, and 1 pm - 3 pm each day. This course is part of the IT Academy, but is open to all and recommended for anyone and everyone at Harvard.

    Accessibility in Technology Procurement

    2:00pm to 3:00pm

    Virtual - Zoom

    When purchasing technology from vendors, it’s important to make sure that the vendor commits to providing an accessible product. In this course you’ll learn how to start the accessibility conversation with a vendor, as well as how to assess a vendor’s approach to accessibility. We’ll also cover Harvard’s procurement process, including the Accessibility Rider, and what to do when that Rider can’t be signed.
